Sandy Rustin

Sandy Rustin (book & lyrics) is currently writing the stage version of Paramount Picture’s cult-hit film, CLUE (Nat’l Tour 2019). She is the writer of the hit Off-Broadway musical, Rated P… For Parenthood (optioned for TV by ABC Studios). She wrote and starred in Overbooked for Nickelodeon  (Nick Mom). Her comedy, The Cottage, was presented at Manhattan  Theatre Club with Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) directing, and is in  development for a NY production. Gina Rattan

Gina Rattan (Director) is also the director of the currently runningNational Tour of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella. On Broadway, Gina has served as associate director for Angels in AmericaMatilda The Musical, Soul Doctor, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Billy Elliot. On television, her credits include Peter Pan and The Sound of Music (Live on NBC). Gina has directed plays and musicals across the United States at regional theatres including ART, Old Globe, Guthrie Theater, Lone Tree Arts Center, Theater Raleigh, and Theater Workshop of Nantucket. Emily Chiu

Emily Chiu (Co-Composer) is a NYC-based composer from Los Angeles, and thrilled to be writing for American Girl Live! She holds an M.F.A from NYU Tisch’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program, and a B.A. in music from Brown University. Writing credits include: Apollo (Tisch New Musicals Workshop); Keaton and the Whale (NYU- Institute of Performing Arts); You Gave Me A Sheep (National Asian Artists Project); Life, Love, Food, and Monsters (William Finn’s New Artists On The Horizon). She is currently working on a commission for the 5th Ave Theatre.  Emily’s songs have been heard at 54 Below, Rockwood Music Hall, and Barrington Stage Company.

Meg Zervoulis

Meg Zervoulis (Co-Composer) Broadway: Mean Girls, The Prom, and Great Comet of 1812. Off-Broadway: Cagney and Rated P. Selected New Works: Sondheim’s Buñuel (Public Theatre), Merrily We Roll Along (Fiasco/Roundabout), Kooman and Dimond’s Dani Girl, and Andrea Grody’s Strange Faces.  Regional: Mary Poppins, Bandstand, Ever After, and many more at Paper Mill Playhouse. Meg is the resident conductor of Hotel Elefant, a contemporary music ensemble in NYC. She has also served an adjunct professor/music director here at Montclair State University for several years. Education: Carnegie Mellon University. Meg is also a member of the Lilly Awards Power Network.

Britt Bonney

Britt Bonney (Co-Composer, Music Supervisor, Co-Music Director) Her original work has been performed all over the world, from New York to London, Cape Town, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem.  She recently received an honorable mention from the Ziegfeld Club’s Billie Burke Award for female composers, and after a Kennedy Center reading of her new musical MONTGOMERY, DC Metro Theater Arts declared, “Britt Bonney… has already made a mark on American musical theater.” Britt’s music directing credits include Orfeh & Andy Karl’s LEGALLY BOUND concert and the DC premiere of GIRLFRIEND at Signature Theatre. Her vocals can be heard on Disney’s recent BEAUTY AND THE BEAST film as well as the HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME cast album, which she also mixed and mastered together with Stephen Schwartz.

Emilie Renier 

Emilie Renier (Choreographer) Based in New York City, has choreographed and performed in productions both nationally and internationally.  Some of her performing credits including: Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (National Tour), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (National and International Tour), Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Singin’ in the Rain, Peter Pan, She Loves Me, A Man of No Importance, RENT, Kiss Me, Kate, Nine, and many more.  Some of her choreography credits include: the national tour of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Asst. Choreographer), Hair (Asst. Choreographer), Kiss Me, Kate (Asst. Choreographer), Little Women, Elon University’s BC/EFA, and many more.  

Lauren Helpern 

Lauren Helpern (Scenic Designer) is an award-winning set designer whose work has been seen in critically acclaimed productions on and off Broadway, and regionally at theatres including La Jolla Playhouse, Geffen Playhouse, South Coast Rep, Huntington Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company, Cleveland Playhouse, and Arizona Theatre Company.  Her family-friendly theatre credits include Blue ManGroup/Live at Luxor (also Boston and Chicago), Theatre works USA’s tour of Paul Revere, and several productions for the Little Orchestra Society.

Faye Armon-Troncoso

Beth Lake

Beth Lake (Sound Designer) is freelance Sound Designer and theater practitioner based in NYC. She has a particular fondness for creating new, literature-based experiences.  Recent designs: Dead Are My People (Noor Theater, NYC), The Price, An Iliad (both for Gulfshore Playhouse), This is Our Youth (Wellfleet Harbor Actor’s Theater), Sex With Strangers (Westport Country Playhouse), The Play That Goes Wrong (Broadway, 1st National tour). Anessa Marie (Co-Music Director, Additional Arrangements) is a composer, music director, pianist, and actress based in NYC. Music Direction includes: Off-Broadway: Frankenstein, Stinky Kids, Fancy Nancy Splendiferous Christmas, Pinkalicious. NYC: City ofLight, An Intolerant Vaudeville, The Addams Family, Into The Woods, Breakup. AsComposer: A Glimpse of the Rainbow, Beautiful: the Music and Lyrics of Anessa Marie, Come From Terminal C, Message in a Bottle. She has graced the stages ofCarnegie Hall, Joe’s Pub, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, and countless others. Anessa also serves on the board of directors for The Art Garage in NYC, and is the founder and director of Beyond Gender Love Transcends, a non-profit organization serving the TGNC community.

Frank Galgano & Matt Castle

Frank Galgano & Matt Castle (Orchestrations and Music Recordings) love making theater for young audiences!  Some of their favorite projects include Pete the Cat, Skippy jon Jones, Martha Speaks, Junie B’s Essential Survival Guide, Fancy Nancy and Other Stories, and Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System. Their work for grownups has been heard off-Broadway (Found at the Atlantic Theater , Transport Group’s Once Upon a Mattress, Fiasco Theater’s Into the Woods), regionally (Pittsburgh CLO, Old Globe,Village Theatre, Sacramento Theatre Company, many more), and on the high seas (Disney Beauty and the Beast).  Coming soon:  Chick Flick, the Musical.
